Abstract
Dans le cadre de ce numéro thématique de Clio "Se dénuder. Corps, genre et politique", nous avons recueilli les propos de Laure Ledoux, artiste et photographe. Née en 1986, elle vit et travaille à Paris. Dans ses séries photographiques, elle questionne notamment les codes de représentation visuelle des hommes. Elle met en scène ses portraits en jouant avec le dénudement et la tactilité – du vêtement comme de la peau – pour décaler le regard sur les corps, mettant en jeu une subtile oscillation entre érotisme et pudeur.Le parti pris singulier de cette artiste s’insère dans l’arborescence des projets entamés depuis les années 1970, dans le sillage des mouvements sociaux et des questionnements féministes décidés à renverser les codes genrés autour desquels se sont cristallisées les représentations du dénudement.
