Abstract
ABSTRAKDiabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit gangguan metabolik yang terjadi akibat pankreas tidak dapat memproduksi cukup insulin secara efektif. Meningkatnya jumlah pasien DMT2 dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor antara lain faktor genetik, obesitas, proses menua, merokok, dan stres . Stres merupakan gangguan pada tubuh dan pikiran yang disebabkan oleh perubahan dan tuntutan kehidupan. Stres dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain materi, fisik, psikologis, sosial, dan spiritual (seperti kecerdasan spiritual). Kecerdasan spiritual merupakan dimensi seseorang untuk mendapatkan kekuatan ketika menghadapi penyakit fisik dan masalah psikis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan stres pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 di wilayah kerja Puskemas II Denpasar Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Total 44 responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini dan dipilih dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI) dan kuesioner Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS). Hasil uji Spearman Rank didapatkan nilai p=0,484 (p>0,05) yang artinya tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan stres pasien DMT2 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Barat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menggunakan jumlah sampel yang lebih banyak sehingga data yang didapatkan akan lebih akurat dan kecerdasan spiritual pasien DM ini perlu lebih diperhatikan oleh seorang perawat ketika memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien DM sehingga dapat menunjang aspek lainnya yang berkontribusi dalam kemampuan perawatan diri pasien.Kata kunci: kecerdasan spiritual, pasien DMT2, stres
