Qu’est-ce qui donne vie à une organisation ? Ce chapitre présente l’approche appréciative, une méthodologie d’accompagnement au changement organisationnel ; les impacts qu’elle peut avoir au sein d’une organisation y sont discutés. L’approche appréciative est basée sur le postulat que chaque organisation possède en elle quelque chose qui fonctionne bien et statue qu’il est possible de rechercher, de trouver et de développer ses sources de vitalité. Les impacts en milieu organisationnel d’une telle intervention sont présentés en quatre catégories : la générativité, l’engagement et la performance, la coopération et l’épanouissement. Une réflexion est proposée quant à l’implantation du changement durant la phase de déploiement, en s’appuyant sur les plus récentes théories de la gestion du changement organisationnel.
