Abstract
The article is based on two years of experience in using interactive questioning methods for working with students of the "Silver University" (Moscow City University). The article analyzes the features of adult learning and substantiates the effectiveness of using methods that help students raise questions (both regarding the educational content and their own goals and plans) and discuss these questions with other members of the study group. Student attitudes to raising and discussing of their own questions and their understanding of the role of questions for learning were investigated. The result of this study is analyzed and discussed.
