La présente recherche s’inscrit dans la réflexion amorcée par les membres du Réseau québécois de recherche et de transfert en littératie pour se doter d’une définition commune qui rallie les conceptions des membres. La méthodologie de la recherche développement a permis d’encadrer le processus de conceptualisation de la littératie grâce à la coconstruction de savoirs, par les participants, tous experts chercheurs ou praticiens. Les résultats documentés de cette démarche, dont l’itération de ses phases de développement de savoirs ouvrent à une définition conceptuelle coconstruite de la littératie. Ils mettent en évidence la contribution de cette coconstruction sur l’appropriation et la diffusion de cette définition.
