Il n’est pas toujours facile de débattre d’une idée surtout lorsqu’il s’agit de modifier une façon de penser inscrite de longue date dans la pensée collective. L’idée en question est celle de l’égalité des sexes. C’est la raison pour laquelle nous essayons de montrer comment la Toile de l’équité, développée à partir des théories féministes, antiracistes et de conscientisation dans les décennies 1970-1990, peut être utilisée pour construire un débat. Ce modèle pédagogique permet d’outiller les enseignantes et les enseignants, en tant qu’apprenantes et apprenants en formation continue, pour orchestrer, le mieux possible, un débat sur et au regard de l’égalité des sexes. Pour cela, nous décrivons la Toile et son évolution dans le temps, pour ensuite traiter du travail et de l’apprentissage en groupe ainsi que du débat, et proposer pour terminer des activités construites en utilisant les axes de la Toile et parvenir au débat.
