À Xanthos, la reconstitution d’une inscription monumentale latine permet de dater la refondation d’un dipylon, qui coïncida avec la célébration des Quindecennalia de Valens (28 mars 378), et d’identifier son dédicant, le Sidyméen Fl. Eutolmius Tatianus (CSL), dont le nom a été martelé. Deux bases de statue inscrites en grec et exposées à l’origine devant les piliers du dipylon faisaient partie de l’ensemble : l’une de Valens, l’autre de Valentinien. En outre, le commentaire sur les célébrations du Dies Imperii, et précisément des Quindecennalia, offre l’occasion de rouvrir le dossier d’une inscription de Cius en Roumanie.
