Abstract
Dalam menjaga marwah suatu jabatan profesi notaris diperlukan adanya lembaga pengawas notaris. Lembaga ini dituntut untuk dapat menegakkan disiplin terhadap penyelenggaraan profesi notaris juga dalam hal penegakan hukum dalam terjadi pelanggaran kode etik notaris. Teknis pasti terhadap penindakan pelanggaran etik rangkap jabatan oleh Majelis Pengawas perlu dielaborasi agar menjadi jelas kepastian hukumnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memahami dan menganalisis bagaimana peranan Majelis Pengawas Wilayah dalam penyelesaian pelanggaran etika rangkap jabatan menurut Undang-Undang Jabatan Notaris dan wujud impementasi kepastian hukum dalam putusan tindakan Majelis Pengawas Wilayah terhadap pelanggaran kode etik rangkap jabatan oleh notaris. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan yuridis-normatif. Referensi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer, buku-buku, jurnal, sumber dari media elektronik, dokumen akta, dan peraturan perundang-undangan serta peraturan kebijakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa Majelis Pengawas Wilayah dalam penyelesaian pelanggaran etika rangkap jabatan terhadap notaris terikat pada wilayah yurisdiksinya. Terhadap notaris yang terbukti bersalah dapat diberikan sanksi peringatan tertulis, pemberhentian sementara, pemberhentian dengan hormat, hingga pemberhentian dengan tidak hormat.
