The files provided here consist of the data, scripts, code, dependencies, and instructions required for reproducing the results presented in the manuscript CLASSIC v1.0: the open-source community successor to the Canadian Land Surface Scheme (CLASS) and the Canadian Terrestrial Ecosystem Model (CTEM) - Part 2: Global Benchmarking submitted to Geoscientific Model Development. step01_installAmber.R: Run this script in RStudio to install AMBER. step02_extractDataAndScripts.sh: Run this script to extract all data and scripts. step03_benchmarking.R: Run this script to conduct the benchmarking. step04_makeShinyApp.R: Run this script to visualize figures in a shiny app. The analysis can take several hours on a laptop. Requirements: Preferably Linux with RStudio and tar installed.
