Abstract
Comment les transporteurs routiers s'organisent-ils pour transporter les conteneurs maritimes dans l'hinterland des ports ? À quelles contraintes sont-ils confrontés ? Quelle est leur performance ? Trois jours passés fin 2019 chez Bogaert transports à Dunkerque fournissent quelques éléments de réponse à ces questions. À l'heure où le port de Dunkerque augmente ses capacités pour le conteneur maritime, il est important d'avoir des repères sur les performances de la route pour comparer les solutions entre elles. Il s'agit en particulier de savoir ce que fait le transport routier pour identifier ses atouts et apprécier son efficacité, pour comprendre les domaines potentiels de concurrence avec les autres modes ou avec les autres ports. Le regard proposé est de suivre le quotidien d'une entreprise afin d'examiner le déploiement de sa flotte de véhicules et les performances obtenues.
