Abstract
It is interesting to find conditions under which matrices follow the same algebraic rules as scalars. For example, conditions that guarantee if two nonsingular matrices A and B are ordered as A≤B, then their inverses satisfy A−1≥B−1, where the ordering is understood to be element-wise. In this article, we provide an elementary proof for such a theorem.
