Abstract
Antecedentes. La menopausia es el periodo que marca el final de la función ovárica, se determina cuando se observa el cese de la menstruación por un año. En promedio ocurre entre los 45 y 55 años. Las mujeres en la clínica reportan elevada frecuencia de síntomas psicológicos y una disminución de la calidad de vida durante esta etapa, pero la información al respecto es variada e inconsistente. Objetivo. Presentar una síntesis del conocimiento sobre la relación entre la ansiedad, depresión o insomnio con la calidad de vida en mujeres adultas en proceso de envejecimiento reproductivo Método. Se realizó una búsqueda sistemática en seis bases de datos: PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, LILACS, SciELO y TesiUNAM. Se incluyeron estudios observacionales siguiendo una estructura PEO en la pregunta de investigación, la revisión se efectuó hasta el 09 de diciembre de 2021. Se usó la herramienta Newcastle-Ottawa para la evaluación del riesgo de sesgo. Resultados. Se obtuvieron 818 títulos en las bases de datos y 85 títulos de registros en TesiUNAM, quitando duplicados y excluyendo la información que no cumplía con los criterios de inclusión, quedaron tres artículos para el análisis cualitativo. Se encontró que la calidad de vida se ve alterada por los trastornos psicológicos, aunque los estudios no son fácilmente comparables por la variedad de instrumentos utilizados. Conclusión. La ansiedad, depresión o insomnio afecta negativamente la calidad de vida de las mujeres que se encuentran en alguna de las etapas del envejecimiento reproductivo.
