Modelling of thermo–acoustic instabilities
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This paper proposes a combination of mixed finite and infinite port–Hamiltonian (m– phs) control models describing thermo–acoustic instabilities in Rijke’s tubes. This experimental setup is a vertical tube open at both ends where a heating element is embedded at its lower part. Thermo–acoustic instabilities occur when the heat transfer is coupled with the acoustic field and generates a loud humming sound. Instabilities can be rejected with a boundary feedback controller. The acoustic pressure at the tube’s top end is measured while the acoustic velocity is actuated at the bottom of the tube with a loudspeaker. The loudspeaker, the heat release process, and the open–end impedance are governed by finite–dimensional port–Hamiltonian systems. The acoustic field is represented as interconnected wave equations. All subsystems are interconnected through power preserving structures enabling the formulation of the open loop as a m–phs.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
