Abstract
De acuerdo con la Carta de Ottawa (1986): “La salud se crea y se vive en el marco de la vida cotidiana en los centros de enseñanza, de trabajo y de recreo”, sin embargo en México a pesar de los esfuerzos e intentos de la política educativa por lograr alcanzar situaciones de aprendizaje en condiciones de salud de los educandos, en ocasiones no se consideran ambientes a los que se someten tanto alumnos como docentes para el desarrollo de sus actividades académicas. Esta investigación plantea retomar la iniciativa de condiciones favorables a la preservación de la salud de los participantes en una comunidad escolar desde el punto de vista de la seguridad e higiene y desde la conservación y mantenimiento de la infraestructura física de las instituciones educativas.
