Abstract
Cet article aborde, à partir de récits de vie, l’expérience d’hommes engagés dans une démarche de réinsertion professionnelle après avoir été sans abri. Il éclaire les difficultés rencontrées à partir des différentes dimensions de chaque trajectoire – démontrant l’apport déterminant que représente l’étude de récits de vie dans le champ de la désaffiliation sociale. La théorie psychanalytique sert de support conceptuel à ce travail. Nos résultats indiquent que la réinsertion socioprofessionnelle repose largement sur les enjeux du rapport à soi et à autrui, souvent construit dans l’adversité et un historique douloureux. Le soutien à la réinsertion par l’emploi doit donc non seulement tenir compte de ces caractéristiques, mais aussi offrir aux usagers un cadre propice à la reconstruction de la capacité à être en lien et, plus profondément, à un travail psychique de subjectivation.
