En 2008, des ossements humains sont découverts lors de travaux d’élargissement routier à Mortefontaine (Aisne). Ce chantier, sous maîtrise d’ouvrage du Département de l’Aisne, est destiné à sécuriser un carrefour en augmentant la visibilité.
