/ L'objectif du projet ASUR est de comprendre la manière dont les usagers des estuaires de la Gironde (France) et du Saint-Laurent (Québec) s'approprient les enjeux environnementaux et les mesures de gestion associés aux sites naturels qu'ils fréquentent. Il s'agit d'identifier les facteurs qui entrent en jeu dans ce processus d'appropriation. Pour ce, trois séries d'hypothèses sont posées : celles d'une appropriation différenciée selon la sensibilité écologique des usagers, selon les types d'usages récréatifs et enfin selon les politiques de préservation mises en oe½uvre. La confrontation et la validation de ces hypothèses issues de corpus théoriques divergents nécessitent la mise en ½oeuvre d'enquêtes qualitatives et quantitatives et d'une analyse comparée. Celle-ci s'appuiera donc sur les exemples contrastés de ces estuaires et des politiques de préservation dont ils font l'objet.
