Abstract
Pilar-pilar dakwah di Kota Balikpapan berdiri sejajar dengan sistem kemapanan sosial. Dinamika penduduk bergerak seiring dengan perkembangan industri pertambangan minyak dan gas bumi. Hari Jadi Kota Balikpapan yang diperingati setiap tahun, bermula pada momentum pengeboran minyak pertama kali di Gunung Teluk Balikpapan pada 10 Februari 1897. Semangat dakwah amar makruf nahi munkar, terus digelorakan dalam rangka mengantisipasi perubahan tatanan akidah umat Islam, akibat pembangunan industri kilang-kilang minyak. Metode penelitian fenomenologi dalam perspektif kegiatan-kegiatan keislaman di Kota Balikpapan, terdapat fenomena infrastruktur dakwah yang sudah menyejarah dari kekuatan dua kesultanan, yaitu Kerajaan Paser dan Kerajaan Kutai Kartanegara Ing Martapura. Provinsi DKI (Daerah Khusus Ibukota) Jakarta yang sejak merdeka hingga sekarang sebagai Ibu Kota Negara (IKN), dulunya bernama Jayakarta. Kini, DKI akan bergerak menuju IKN. Dari Jakarta menuju kawasan Kartanegara.
