Abstract
Dans les deux Amériques, les mobilisations des peuples autochtones des dernières décennies se sont centrées sur la question de la terre et du territoire. L’auteure cherchera à dégager les spécificités des mouvements autochtones et de leurs revendications par rapport à d’autres types de mobilisations sociales, en s’appuyant sur ses expériences de recherche au Chili, en Bolivie et au Canada. Elle s’intéressera d’une part, aux acteurs, espaces et échelles d’action de ces mobilisations. D’autre part, elle examinera les registres et pratiques discursives autochtones, notamment la mise en carte et la mise en histoire du territoire, comme faisant partie d’un même champ symbolique stratégique à partir duquel les acteurs autochtones tentent de se ré- affirmer en tant que collectivités historiques au sein des États-nations, et de se réapproprier le territoire.
