Abstract
Kota Hijau adalah gagasan pembangunan yang pro terhadap pedoman pembangunan kota berkelanjutan. Untuk mewujudkannya salah satu faktor yang harus dikembangkan adalah perlunya managemen transportasi yang baik. Transportasi berkelanjutan adalah suatu ide yang dikembangkan sebagai antitesis terhadap kegagalan pengambilan keputusan, praktik dan kapasitas pola transportasi yang dikembangkan selama kira-kira 50 tahun belakangan. Sehingga perlu adanya eksplorasi konsep mengenai keterkaitan konsep perancangan kota terhadap pengembangan transportasi hijau sebagai sumber ilmu pengetahuan sekaligus memperkuat ilmu mengenai arsitektur dan perancangan kota. Tahapan penelitian diawali dengan mengetahui posisi transportasi dalam perancangan kota, isu dan prinsip kemudian elaborasi transportasi hijau dalam perancangan kota. Isu transportasi hijau adalah mobilitas dan tata guna lahan untuk membangun hubungan antar kota, mobilitas transportasi publik untuk mempercepat perpindahan manusia, barang dan jasa serta moda transportasi ramah lingkungan berorientasi pada penggunaan angkutan berbahan bakar nonfosil untuk mencapai kota dengan bebas emisi polusi kanbordioksida. Prinsip dalam mewujudkan transportasi hijau diantaranya prioritas moda, konektivitas antar moda dan konektivitas antar ruang kota. Konsep perancangan kota secara keseluruhan mempunyai keterkaitan dengan pengembangan transportasi hijau. Sehingga ketika terpenuhinya aspek transportasi hijau pada suatu perancangan kota maka secara tidak langsung telah memenuhi aspek-aspek dalam konsep perancangan kota.
