Abstract

It might be a time consuming process to reach intended menu over a banking call center. In this work, a new approach is adopted to estimate call intents of customers based on their previous ATM transactions. A dataset of 13 intent categories is created using collected real data of a bank located in Turkey, and incorporating the demographics of the users too. And 49% accuracy is obtained over this dataset. Even if ATM transactions and call center dialogues do not have obvious connections, a link is revealed through this work, which might have a potential to improve user experience.
