Abstract
Les politiques économiques internationales constituent un objet de recherche prometteur pour la sociologie politique de l’international. Malgré quelques amorces en direction de la sociologie, les courants classiques de l’économie politique internationale puisent en effet davantage leur inspiration dans les sciences économiques. Cette introduction souhaite contribuer à un rapprochement critique entre ces perspectives disciplinaires en s’appuyant sur une série de travaux sociohistoriques qui cherchent à éviter le piège de la réification des États et des organisations, et se méfient de l’illusion héroïque et téléologique dans la conduite de l’action publique internationale. Elle montre tout l’apport d’une sociologie des agents, attentive à rendre compte de leurs pratiques, à éclairer leurs trajectoires et leurs dispositions, à analyser la structure de leurs interactions, de leurs conflits et de leurs stratégies au cœur des bureaucraties économiques internationales.
