Abstract
El objetivo de este breve ensayo es arrojar luz sobre este tipo de casos que llamaremos cuasi-factivos. En particular, nos proponemos presentar un mecanismo pragmático que cubra los casos paradigmáticos de cuasi-factivos, y otros casos similares (incluso algunas casos no cuasi-factivos). Esto nos permitirá argumentar que pese a que hay aspectos de la cuasi-factividad que podrían sugerir que nos encontramos ante un fenómenos semántico, por lo menos en los casos cubiertos por nuestro modelo, estamos hablando de un fenómeno pragmático. Queda abierta la pregunta, sin embargo, de si, dado que hay casos (no paradigmáticos) de cuasi-factivos que no explica nuestro modelo, la cuasi-factividad es un fenómeno lingüístico unificado, un caso particular de un fenómeno más general, o un conjunto de fenómenos similares pero sin causa común subyacente.
