Abstract

La révision participative du Schéma d’aménagement et de développement de l’Agglomération du Québec suscite un trouble, une indignation en ce qu’elle pourrait mener au dézonage de terres agricoles périurbaines dotées d’un ensemble de propriétés, de valeurs partagées et reconnues par une communauté qui se mobilise pour en assurer collectivement la reconnaissance au titre de patrimoine commun et les préserver d’une transformation préjudiciable. Prenant appui sur les outils sociologiques développés par Luc Boltanski et Laurent Thévenot (1991), cette recherche analyse les opérations de dévoilement et de justification, les sens du bien et du juste ainsi que les appuis normatifs convoqués par les acteurs lorsqu’ils déterminent ce qui compte, ce à quoi ils attribuent une valeur, lorsqu’ils élaborent leur propre définition du monde et des actions qu’ils entendent y engager.
