This paper presents a high gain and wideband magneto-electric dielectric-resonator dipole antenna operating at millimeter-wave (mm-wave) bands around 30 GHz. The proposed antenna is implemented by combining two multi-resonant modes, namely, a magneto-electric (ME) dipole and stacked dielectric resonator dipole (DRD) antennas fed by printed ridge gap waveguide technology (PRGW) to present a wideband antenna. In addition, a perforated dielectric substrate lens located in the broadside direction of the antenna as a gain enhancement technique is used to increase the gain by an average of 3 dB over the entire operating bandwidth. The simulated results demonstrate a reflection coefficient better than −14 dB of 42.4% over 26–40 GHz, while the realized gain of the designed ME-DRA antenna is more than 9 dBi over the frequency band with a peak gain of 13.5 dBi at 37.5 GHz.
