Abstract
Nous restituons ici la genèse d’une équipe de recherche et de formation centrées sur les relations interethniques qui s’est implantée au Québec dans le milieu des années 1990 en direction des professionnels de la santé et du travail social. La formation interculturelle constitue l’un des produits de la recherche en partenariat, soit une façon de faire de la recherche sociale ancrée dans la réalité des pratiques en santé et en service social. Cette forme de recherche résulte d’une expérience novatrice lancée en 1992 par le Conseil québécois de la recherche sociale (CQRS), marquant un nouveau rapport entre la recherche sociale et les milieux de pratique clinique, du travail social et du travail pédagogique.
