Abstract
Plusieurs facteurs influencent la compréhension en lecture, dont l’inhibition et les habitudes liées aux médias. La période entre la 4e et la 6e année du primaire est cruciale, car les élèves doivent continuer leur apprentissage de la lecture tout en lisant pour apprendre. L’article explore la relation entre la compréhension en lecture, l’inhibition et les habitudes d’utilisation des médias chez cette population. Les résultats montrent que de moins bonnes capacités d'inhibition sont associées à une utilisation plus importante des médias. Un constat concerne la sensibilisation des élèves sur leurs habitudes liées aux médias pour optimiser le développement de leur compétence à lire.
