Con Sergio Chejfec nos conocimos a principios de los ochenta, de noche, tarde, en un café de la calle Pueyrredón. Nos volvimos a encontrar en el 2002 o 2003 en California. Teníamos en común, entre muchas otras cosas, la voluntad de seguir manteniendo un contacto estrecho con la cultura argentina a pesar de exilios diversos y prolongados.
