Abstract
Les romans d’Henri Lopes intègrent le discours ethnographique comme un de leurs genres intercalaires en s’amusant avec ironie de ses motifs. Leur dimension contre-ethnographique tient cependant moins à un renversement ou à une parodie qu’à une déconstruction des identités par la révélation d’une histoire et d’une géographie complexes. Ce sont d’abord les discours qui sont visés et que le jeu de plurilinguisme et de polyphonie des textes vient interroger. Les romans tendent moins à découvrir une réalité sociale à travers une enquête singulière qu’à interroger un individu dans son rapport au groupe. Florian Alix est maître de conférences à Sorbonne Université, membre du CIEF/CELLF, spécialiste des littératures francophones d’Afrique et des Antilles. Ses thèmes de recherche sont les liens entre littérature et savoir, le genre littéraire du conte et les questions de genre (gender) dans l’énonciation romanesque. Membre du collectif « Write back », il a codirigé le volume Postcolonial Studies : modes d’emploi (Presses Universitaires de Lyon, 2013) ; il a également codirigé avec Lise Gauvin et Romuald Fonkoua Penser le roman francophone contemporain (Presses de l’Université de Montréal, 2020).
