Abstract
Depresyon ve kardiyovaskuler hastalik tum dunyada yetiyitimine en cok yol acan nedenlerden ikisidir. Depresyon koroner arter hastaligina yol acan bagimsiz bir faktordur ve akut koroner sendrom sonrasinda varliginda olumsuz prognostik bir gostergedir. Bu sekilde acik iliskilerine ragmen bu iki hastaligi bir birine baglayan altta yatan mekanizmalar halen bilinmemektedir. Patofizyolojik mekanizmalarin aciga cikarilmasi ile ilgili gucluk depresyon kriterlerini karsilayan hastalarin heterojen olmasinda yatiyor olabilir. Depresif semptomlarin daha iyi ayristirilmasi ve olculmesi gelecekteki arastirmalarda daha rafine olgu tanimlarina onculuk edebilir.
