Abstract
L’observance est un concept fréquemment utilisé dans le domaine de la santé, dont l’intérêt remonte au temps d’Hippocrate. Cependant, en sciences infirmières, peu d’écrits abordent le concept de l’observance particulièrement en contraception. Ce texte propose une analyse du concept de l’observance à la contraception orale, selon le modèle d’analyse de Walker et Avant. Étant le moyen contraceptif le plus utilisé par les femmes, il apparaît pertinent de bien saisir ce concept dans sa spécificité pour la pratique infirmière.
