Abstract
O terror global derivado da COVID-19 solicitou à humanidade refletir profundamente sobre o futuro da educação no mundo. Este artigo discute um tema emergente e polêmico: educação à distância-EAD. Advoga por um controle popular do conhecimento global e das tecnologias digitais baseados em propostas de organização internacionalista de ‘plataformas de resistências globais’. Baseia-se em duas chaves de leitura que flexionam a temática: a primeira refere-se às bases ideológico-narrativas da EAD, quais sejam, o discurso do futuro antecipado e o tecnoidealismo na educação. A segunda conecta um conjunto histórico de normatizações aprovadas na tentativa de moldar a educação à distância no Brasil, assimetricamente, ao projeto econômico, político e educativo de Bolsonaro. Outrosim, discorre sobre a evolução do movimento crítico do campo educacional sobre o debate da EAD. Conclui que é necessário espelhar o lado “esquerdo” da tecnologia e suas potencialidades como mediação a ser conquistada e controlada pelas classes subalternas.
