Abstract
À partir de l’analyse de la fiction québécoise pour la jeunesse traduite en espagnol et en catalan en Espagne entre 1975 et 2004, le but de cet article est de mettre au jour la dimension « utilitariste » pour la société d’accueil que peut revêtir la pratique de la traduction dans le domaine de la littérature pour la jeunesse. Plus concrètement, nous illustrerons comment la société cible catalane s’approprie les « textes-jeunesse » originaux québécois grâce à des stratégies textuelles et para-textuelles afin de propager des idées nationalistes qui concernent l’espace culturel cible catalan autant sinon plus que l’espace canadien/québécois d’où ces productions culturelles sont issues.
