Abstract
All articles of this category Die 7 Jahre alte tragende Quarter-Horse-Stute wurde aufgrund einer neurologischen Symptomatik vorgestellt. Vorberichtlich lagen seit einigen Tagen eine Kopfschiefhaltung nach links und eine reduzierte Futteraufnahme vor. Im Rahmen der klinischen Untersuchung zeigten sich ein geringgradig reduziertes Allgemeinbefinden, Fieber, Foetor ex ore, linksseitige Miosis und Enophthalmus sowie Ptosis und eine linksseitige Fazialisparese. Die Fazialisparese stellte sich klinisch mit einem hängenden linken Ohr, einer Lähmung der linken Ober- und Unterlippe sowie einem fehlenden linken Maulwinkelreflex dar. In der endoskopischen Untersuchung zeigte sich ein normaler Schluckakt. Es wurde eine latero-laterale Röntgenaufnahme der Luftsackregion angefertigt ([ Abb. 1 ]).
