Abstract
Jean Krsnak, MSN, MBA, RN, CCM, is a CCMC Commissioner. At the time of this writing, she was an Acute Care Case Manager at UC Irvine Medical Center and has recently retired. She has had more than 20 years of experience as a registered nurse in a variety of roles including clinician, staff educator, consultant, and case manager. Her experience was primarily in academic centers and across settings including critical care, medical and surgical telemetry, and oncology. Vivian Campagna, DNP, RN-BC, CCM, is the chief industry relations officer (CIRO) for the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), the first and largest nationally accredited organization that certifies more than 50,000 professional case managers and disability management specialists. The Commission oversees the process of case manager certification with its CCM credential and the process of disability management specialist certification with its CDMS credential.
