Cet article interroge la place du religieux dans les stratégies communicationnelles et de consommation. Il s’agira de rendre compte de l’écart (sur les sites Internet majoritairement) entre discours religieux, sacrés ou spirituels à des fins marchandes par des marques et des acteurs monastiques, et les mêmes types de discours par des marchands non monastiques. L’analyse sémiotique de trois bières présentant des « degrés de religiosité » différents illustre la réflexion.
