En la actualidad, las instituciones educativas latinoamericanas enfrentan desafíos en términos de su capacidad de utilización, absorción y generación de respuestas pedagógicas y curriculares frente al uso de las TIC. Esta situación ha dado como resultado una variabilidad en las formas y el contenido de la sistematización del uso de las TIC en el continente. El propósito de este artículo es el de analizar estos cambios en relación a los procesos de despliegue de saberes diversos, tanto formales como no formales, en el contexto educativo actual. También se plantean posibles líneas de investigación adicional en estas áreas.
