Abstract
Au moment de préparer un cours ou une formation sur l’évaluation de la famille pour les étudiants gradués ou les cliniciens, la question est de savoir quel modèle théorique ou quelle école de thérapie devrait-on enseigner. L’objectif général du présent article est de répondre à cette question. Il vise plus spécifiquement à proposer les définitions des principales composantes à prendre en considération lors de l’évaluation du fonctionnement d’une famille et de proposer un modèle explicatif permettant d’illustrer comment ces composantes sont inter-reliées. Cette démarche de recherche s’appuie sur une méthode de recension critique des écrits publiée par Grant & Bootht (2009), concernant l’ensemble des composantes du fonctionnement familial proposées par les cliniciens et les chercheurs dans le domaine de la thérapie familiale systémique.
