Effect of Airgap Symmetry on Rotational Iron Losses produced by an Assembled Stator Core
Bibliographic record
Abstract
In this work, the effects of air-gap asymmetry on the iron losses in assembled stator cores are studied. The effect of rotor rotation is avoided by energizing an assembled stator with a stationary exciter producing a rotating field with 2-pole flux pattern. Two stators are analyzed under different air-gap symmetry conditions for the evaluation of iron losses using 2-D FE models. The source of asymmetry is assumed to be generated from the rotor, for example, rotor bearing fault. In addition, stator skewing is also studied experimentally and using 3-D FE models as a 3-D airgap asymmetry cause. Two M-36 29 Ga assembled stators are tested and it is shown that skewing can introduce a 10% increase in assembled stator iron losses at 1.52 T.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
