Pif Gadget est un des journaux de bande dessinée français majeurs des années 1970. Organe de presse communiste, il se diffuse vers l’Europe de l’Est, mais aussi, de manière moins connue (et moins idéologique), vers le Québec. À partir de dépouillements de la presse numérisée québécoise, d’échanges de fans sur des forums et d’entretiens semi-directifs avec d’anciens lecteurs, cet article revient sur les transferts de Pif Gadget et de ses bandes dessinées au Québec. Il revient notamment sur les différentes reprises des séries du journal au Québec, étudie ses stratégies d’implantation médiatique, ses tentatives d’éditions locales et sa réception, notamment sur toute une génération d’auteurs importants de la BD québécoise.
