Abstract
Cette publication est ciblée sur quelques études réalisées dans le cadre du projet TRANSLAND : -Les politiques néerlandaises de localisation des ensembles de construction nouvelles (VINEX) et d’implantation des activités nouvelles (ABC). Ces politiques représentent une organisation très planificatrice de l’espace avec des préoccupations de maîtrise des sols et de développement durable ;-La planification « en doigts » du Grand Copenhague : elle montre les effets d’une planification à long terme basée sur la promotion des transports publics et la protection des espaces verts.-Les exemples de deux agglomérations françaises, Rennes et Strasbourg, où existe une volonté planificatrice, axée dans le premier cas sur la maîtrise des sols, et dans le second, sur une politique forte en matière de transports.-La localisation d’EURALILLE, dont la réalisation a parfois été critiquée, présente de nombreux avantages en terme de gestion économe de l’espace et de maîtrise des déplacements.Dans la plupart des études présentées, mais dans une moindre mesure dans les cas français, des éléments d’évaluation enrichissent la présentation faite.
