Abstract
Abstract The way an architectural drawing is composed and formatted is underwritten by its reliance on Western, modernist protocols of space‐making and construction. Guest‐editor of this issue and faculty in architecture at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ozayr Saloojee describes his drawing practice as a way to destabilise these assumptions and introduce in his work more social and political issues not prevalent in the western cannon.
