EXPERIÊNCIAS DE ESTRESSE DOS MOTOTAXISTAS NO MUNICÍPIO DE BARREIRAS-BA NUMA PERSPECTIVA COGNITIVO-COMPORTAMENTAL

Abstract
A profissão que exercem os mototaxistas em transportar passageiros/as e vivenciar diariamente um trânsito com milhares de veículos pode causar estresse. Para tanto, o presente artigo teve como objetivo analisar as experiências de estresse dos mototaxistas no Município de Barreiras-BA numa perspectiva Cognitivo-Comportamental. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa é qualitativa de caráter exploratório. O estudo foi realizado com 5 profissionais (mototaxistas) com idades entre 35 a 50 anos, regularmente cadastrados na Associação dos Proprietários de Mototaxistas no Município de Barreiras-BA. Como instrumentos de coletas de dados, utilizou-se um Questionário Sociodemográfico com 10 perguntas fechadas e abertas e uma Entrevista Semiestruturada com 4 perguntas abertas. Os dados foram analisados através da análise de conteúdo, em seguida transcritos os discursos e construídas as categorias. Os resultados apresentam relatos de estresse associado ao exercício da profissão por parte dos mototaxistas. Os participantes afirmaram vivenciar situações estressantes na profissão, como congestionamentos de veículos e motos no munícipio de Barreiras-BA, motoristas que não respeitam as leis, são apressados, buzinam, desrespeitam e insultam. Além disso, demonstram que a irritabilidade e nervosismo, devidos à renda mensal reduzida afetam nos relacionamentos com familiares e colegas da profissão. Portanto, com a realização deste estudo sugerem-se que se desenvolvam mais pesquisas para explorar este assunto tão pouco discutido no Brasil, elaborando estratégias preventivas de intervenção voltadas para o estresse e oferecendo uma melhor qualidade de vida a esses profissionais.
