Abstract
À l’image de l’ensemble des territoires ruraux, le rythme d’évolution des territoires steppiques algérien s’est accéléré durant le dernier quart du siècle sous l’impulsion des facteurs de la modernité. Lors d’un travail de recherche sur la région de Djebel Amour, mené et publié en 2003, nous nous sommes intéressés à cette évolution et à ses facteurs. Plusieurs scénarios d’évolution ont ainsi été proposés. De retour dans la région 15 ans après, nous avons voulu vérifier la véracité des scénarios proposés et savoir si l’un parmi eux s’est concrétisé. L’analyse porte sur la dynamique des composantes des scénarios en fonction de la situation actuelle dans la région.
