Abstract
O presente artigo busca empreender uma discussão sobre questões relacionadas à escola instaurada na modernidade, cuja finalidade estava direcionada a produzir os corpos necessários para atuarem na configuração social que despontava na era industrial. Ao mesmo tempo lança luzes sobre um possível desalinhamento desta instituição basilar no que se refere à escola que se desenha na contemporaneidade, cujos desajustes evidenciam uma chamada “crise da escola”, passando a constituir-se como uma maquinavaria. Agora, outros são os corpos dos quais a escola deve se ocupar para produzir subjetividades vinculadas à produtividade e à rentabilidade que imperam na racionalidade neoliberal. Em virtude destes dois movimentos, procura tencionar o conceito maquinaria escolar criado por Varela e Álvarez-Uría (1992) articulando-o com os estudos de Sibilia (2012), Laval (2019) e Masschelein e Simons (2018) para pensarmos na emergência de uma maquinavaria escolar.
