Ketimpangan wilayah dan kemiskinan merupakan permasalahan yang dialami oleh hampir seluruh negara berkembang. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta merupakan wilayah administratif setingkat provinsi yang memiliki tingkat ketimpangan tertinggi di Indonesia. Pembangunan endogen bisa menjadi salah satu solusi mengatasi ketimpangan dan kemiskinan, namun tidak semua wilayah yang menerapkan pembangunan endogen mampu memberikan pengaruh positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menguraikan pembangunan model endogen dalam kasus Kulon Progo dengan analisis mengacu pada elemen-elemen kerangka pembangunan endogen. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa inovasi dan penerapan pembangunan endogen yang dilakukan dalam bentuk program “Bela Beli Kulon Progo” memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengurangan tingkat kemiskinan di Kabupaten Kulon Progo.
