La mobilité décarbonée : le premier projet de rétrofit d’autocar, l’expérience normande avec Nomad

Abstract
Initié par Transdev Normandie avec la région Normandie et mené pendant deux ans en coopération avec une douzaine d’acteurs institutionnels, industriels et universitaires, le projet Nomad Car Hydrogène est la première expérience au monde de rétrofit, avec la transformation d’un car thermique diesel en autocar électrique hydrogène. En contribuant à la réduction des émissions de gaz à effet de serre et des polluants atmosphériques, le Nomad Car Hydrogène est une solution de mobilité durable et Zéro émission. Il contribue à l’atténuation du changement climatique et à la protection de la qualité de l’air en région Normandie, tout en ouvrant la voie à une nouvelle filière industrielle de rétrofit opérant à plus grande échelle ainsi qu’à l’allongement de la durée de vie des véhicules lourds. Par son caractère collaboratif et innovant, ce projet contribue à l’émergence d’un écosystème H 2 en Normandie. En effet, il préfigure les besoins et ressources nécessaires à son développement, tels que la formation des collaborateurs des entreprises du secteur, la connaissance des impacts environnementaux associés au cycle de vie des nouveaux véhicules à hydrogène, l’analyse sociologique des parties prenantes, la reprogrammation des stations d’avitaillement, l’adaptation des cahiers des charges des collectivités, la redéfinition des procédures risques et incidents (en lien avec les services d’incendie et de sécurité (SDIS)), l’élaboration d’une documentation réglementaire et juridique adaptée et l’expertise technique du rétrofit en tant que tel.
