Abstract
L'huile de foie de morue est utilisée massivement à partir de la seconde moitié du XIX° siècle comme source de vitamine D. Elle est en majorité importée de Norvège. Il existe de nombreuses spécialités ainsi que des succédanés qui sont censées avoir les mêmes qualités thérapeutiques sans en avoir le gout désagréable. Cod liver oil is used massively from the second half of the nineteenth century as a source of Vitamin D. It is imported in particular from Norway. There are many specialties, many substitutes are made that are supposed to have the same therapeutic qualities without having the unpleasant taste
