Abstract
O presente estudo aborda uma ramificação da área da logística, a logística reversa, que consiste em ações voltadas para a reutilização de resíduos, reaproveitamento de qualquer descarte ou sobras da produção, descarte correto de lixo, bem como ações de conscientização ambiental dos colaboradores e consumidores. Ante ao exposto, o presente artigo, visa investigar: como a logística reversa pode ser aplicada em empresas do ramo alimentício? Sendo assim, tem-se como objetivo apresentar a logística reversa como um diferencial competitivo para as organizações que atuam com alimentos. Para isso, a metodologia utilizada foi bibliográfica, sendo realizada uma pesquisa em livros, sites e artigos científicos. Como resultados, verificou-se que, devido à crescente preocupação com a preservação do meio ambiente, a logística reversa vem sendo cada vez mais estudada, a fim de diminuir os danos significativos e irreversíveis que o descarte incorreto de lixo acarreta ao planeta. Por fim, concluiu-se que a logística reversa, quando aplicada em empresas do ramo alimentício, pode-se apresentar como um diferencial competitivo, uma vez que agrega uma boa imagem à empresa e fideliza os clientes pelo fluxo reverso, que se dá pelo fato de as empresas oferecem um suporte no pós-venda ou pós-consumo do produto.
