Abstract
Cet article examine le rapport entre le polar et la littérature de jeunesse à partir du roman Rapt à Bamako d’Alpha-Mandé Diarra et Marie Florence Ehret. Il vise plus précisément à montrer comment ce roman reprend certains thèmes fréquemment exploités dans le champ de la littérature de jeunesse. Nous posons l’hypothèse que Rapt à Bamako se construit, d’une part, autour de thèmes et idées principalement axées sur les rapports entre littérature et société, et, d’autre part, sur la recherche de mécanismes esthétiques ou narratifs pour rendre compte de la vie des êtres et des choses en Afrique contemporaine. Le roman emploie une série de stratégies narratives dont le but est de révéler les tensions entre l’enquête rationnelle et la pensée surnaturelle. Il présente ainsi la particularité d’introduire le lecteur dans un univers avant tout politique et dans l’imaginaire social malien où la conception du monde comprend, pour une bonne partie de la population, autant le monde visible qu’invisible
